In just his second race back from injury, Troy Lee Designs’ Cole Seely claimed his fourth podium finish of the season inside MetLife Stadium. Despite missing three rounds, he still sits inside the top 10 in points following his third-place finish.

Seely started the night in typical fashion when he transferred straight into the Main Event through the heat race. He was able to get a good gate pick and took full advantage of his choice by grabbing a great start and running up front for the entire race. While he was passed late in the race, he was also able to hold off advances from reigning champion Ryan Dungey to tally his fourth podium finish of the season.

“A few weeks ago I was sitting on the couch, and now I’m back up here [on the podium] so it feels great,” said Seely. “I really hope that we can keep it going as we head to Vegas and then to the motocross season.”

The final Monster Energy Supercross of the season will be at Sam Boyd Stadium on May 7 in Las Vegas.
