Team HRC’s Tim Gajser had a tough introduction to Supercross at Sam Boyd Stadium for the 2017 Monster Energy Cup last Saturday evening. After putting down some impressive times during the day, the night show went a little rougher for the former world motocross champion ā€“ a case in the rhythm section ejected the Slovenian and he hit the Las Vegas dirt hard.

He ended up sitting out the rest of the night’s racing but there’s some good news from Tim: “I really like supercross but I just think I need more practice,” he offered in a press release. “Itā€™s very different from what Iā€™m used to. I was having fun all day and during the race before my crash. Iā€™m very sore but thankfully nothing is broken, so Iā€™m able to go home pretty healthy. I think this was a good start and positive learning opportunity, so hopefully I can come back and race again.”
