It looks like there could be some hope that Marvin Musquin may make this weekend’s AMA Supercross round at Anaheim, a report from Racer X says.

The injury update from the World’s most popular motocross news website reports they have spoken with Marvin’s trainer, Aldon Baker, who says that his injury gets better by the day and that the Frenchman will see how he feels after riding later today.

The last official update out of Red Bull KTM was after the race at Houston but it offered very little detail.

“After qualifying 3rd today, I went down hard in the whoops in my heat race,” Marvin said in the statement. “I landed on my left shoulder and felt really beat up. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to line up for the rest of night.

“I’m really disappointed about that given the team and I were in a good place after our win last weekend. But I will get checked up as soon as I get home and will know more in the next few days. Supercross is a long season so I’m hopeful I will be able to line up in Anaheim 2.”
