Ken Roczen has spoken about his injuries from the San Diego Supercross crash with Cooper Webb for the first time. And although he’s understandably unhappy with what happened at the weekend, he’s kept his sense of humour.
“Just want to forget about this weekend,” he wrote on Instagram. “Surgery on Friday on my hand. Will give an update as soon as I get a CT scan. Dunlop tires hook up great! Might be able to be back pretty quick. Will know more soon.”
So thankfully it’s nowhere near as bad as his last injury and Ken is holding onto some hope that he won’t be away from racing too long.
There does appear to be a lot of swelling on his arm and hand, which isn’t surprising – let’s hope there’s nothing too serious going on there. We’ll all eagerly await news from the CT scan, none more so than the man himself.
