A Dylan Ferrandis injury update is in and it’s not good news with the Frenchman travelling back to France for further tests and surgery.

Ferrandis had a nasty looking crash at Atlanta Supercross, ejecting off the bike after catching a Tuff Block ā€“ at the same point on the track that Weston Peick crashed who was considerably more fortunate with injury than Ferrandis. There were no initial details on Ferrandis’ injuries but he has now taken to social media to update his fans.

“Had a bad crash at Atlanta supercross hit a tuff blocks a the take-off of a triple, broken arm and broken teeth, donā€™t know yet about my jaw,” he posted. “Quick stop to France to get big checkup and surgeries.”

It sounds like this injury could put the Monster Energy Yamalube Yamaha rider out of Supercross for the season. Let’s hope he can make a quick recovery and be back in time to race in the US AMA Pro Nationals which starts on May 19 at Hangtown.

Ferrandis sits ninth in the Eastern Region 250SX standings on 34 points. If you missed the Dylan Ferrandis crash you can watch it below.
