Alex Martin has been officially unveiled as a new signing for Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing Team.

The former Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/KTM rider has inked a two-year contract with JGRMX Suzuki squad and will race the 250 regional Supercross championship on the RM-Z250 in 2019 and beyond.

Finishing twice runner-up in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, two National wins, 18 outdoor podiums, three Supercross podiums and a combined 84 top-10 finishes, the Minnesota-native possess an impressive moto CV.

“Iā€™m very happy to be joining the team and excited for the next two years,ā€ Martin said in a press release. “The resources that the Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing Team has to offer, along with the facility at JGRMX in North Carolina, will be a huge benefit.”

The 28-year-old added: “Suzuki is coming out with a brand-new RM-Z250 for 2019, and Iā€™m excited to get great results on the bike. I am looking forward to the next few years!”

Team manager Jeremy Albrecht said: “Iā€™m pumped that a rider of Alexā€™s calibre will be on the all-new Suzuki RM-Z250. Our goal is to win races, both in Supercross and the Nationals.
