The motocross riders who will compete for Team Great Britain in the 2019 FIM Junior World Motocross Championship in Pietramurata, Italy on July 13/14 have been confirmed today.

The event sees the very best junior riders battle it out in a format similar to the Motocross of Nations ā€“ riders compete for individual and team results.

Importantly, it also gives the world’s future stars of the sport a glimpse of the competition at an international level.

“I am pleased to announce this year’s riders who will be representing Great Britain in the prestigious event of the FIM Junior World Motocross Championship,” said Team GB manager Gareth Hockey in a press release.

“This year the team will be heading over 1,000 miles to Italy. The track was used earlier this year for the MXGP and it is great to see the worldā€™s elite [youth] riders able to compete at the same venue as the top world championship riders.

“It makes my team and I very proud that many of ā€˜ourā€™ riders will race for their country, and also to have the opportunity to play a wider role in supporting the future stars of the sport as they race at international level in their respective junior classes representing Great Britain.”
