An infection has forced Stefan Everts back into the hospital as the legendary motocrosser continues his fight with Malaria.

Suffering from pain in his right foot in the last few days Everts was admitted to the University Hospital of Leuven with a bone infection. Everts will be treated with antibiotics intravenously.

“It’s a blow for me, said Everts. But as always I keep fighting and I will also overcome this obstacle.”
