Flat Track, FMX and Sir Douglas Lampkin keep MotoGP fans thrilled in a Saturday night dirt bike bonanza!

Saturday night at Silverstone is all about dirt bike action as the UK’s best from the world of freestyle motocross, trials and flat track converge on the home of tarmac motorsports to entertain the massive crowds at the MotoGP weekender. The action comes thick and fast all night long and goes down a storm with the knee-down crowd.

FMX stars John Pearson, Jamie Squibb and Danny Veale compete head-to-head-to-head in a three-man thriller. Decided by crowd reaction the backflippin’ northener John Pearson takes gold in the Best Trick and Best Run contest while Squibby’s upsidedown skills earn him the Best Whip title.

Dougie Lampkin and cousin ‘Beastie’ Ben Hemingway entertain the masses with their trials demo. The pair had been enjoying a steak dinner with all the trimmings moments before remembering they were due to to perform at the ‘arena’ on the outside of Stowe corner. Despite bursting at the seems with beefy goodness the pair put on a cracking show and really got the crowd into it despite coming on right after the freestylers.

The oval action was won by Aussie Ty Nelson who beat Ade Collins in a brutal bare-knuckle fight to the finish of their 15-lap main event. The big winner on the night though was off-road motorcycle sport as a massive crowd witnessed three very different but exciting disciplines of dirt bike madness.
