BOS GP has announced that Tommy Searle will switch to BOS GP Kawasaki for 2019.

Searle has signed for the BOS GP team, who earlier this week parted ways with Jordi Tixier. It means that Searle will stay on Kawasaki machinery for the 2019 Motocross World Championship, something that he has mooted as his preference several times in recent weeks.

BOS GP team manager Jean-Jacques Luisetti ā€“ who was only announced this week – and Searle already have a strong connection having worked together during their time at CLS Kawasaki.

Searle is also well acquainted with his new teammate Evgeny Bobryshev ā€“ they have been competing against each other for years and recently had a controversial coming together at the MXGP of Czech Republic earlier this season ā€“ Bobryshev described it at the time as a dirty pass and Searle, to his credit quickly apologised.

BOS GP had a little bit of a rough start to life in MXGP ā€“ dropping two riders in the space of a few months but with Luisetti coming on board and now Searle and Bobryshev as teammates, this should be a solid team in 2019.

We’re looking forward to seeing what Searle and Bobby can do on the 2019 Kawasaki KX450 next season.
