Recently-crowned Monster Energy AMA Supercross Western Regional 250SX Class champion, Ken Roczen, took part in last night’s first pitch ceremonies for the San Diego Padres vs. Seattle Mariners game at PETCO Park.

Roczen, who rides for the Red Bull KTM team, won three Main Events and earned an additional five podium finishes en route to winning the his first Monster Energy Supercross Western Regional 250SX Class Championship.

“Throwing out the first pitch during an MLB game isn’t something you get to do every day,” said Roczen. “It was an awesome experience. I want to thank the Padres for this great opportunity; it was a nice way to cap off a great season and get fans excited about the 2014 season.”
