Chatfield snatches the win in 02 shocker…

Arenacross blew the roof off The O2 on Saturday night with 7,500 fans piling into the iconic London venue to watch the UK and Europe’s leading racers and FMX riders.

It was non-stop action all the way with top-flight professional racers sharing centre stage with world class FMX athletes and the country’s fastest up-and-coming youth stars as the four-round Arenacross tour got off to an adrenalin-charged start in the nation’s capital.

The big winner on the night was Buildbase Honda’s Adam Chatfield who picked up a cheque for £2,500 with victory in the 14-lap Main Event over head-to-head victor Nev Bradshaw and defending champ Tom Church.

“It couldn’t have gone any better,” says 25-year-old Adam. “I won everything I could win – both my heat races and the final. It’s a great start to the season, I just need to see how I go in the rest of them. I went to America for 10 days before this just to get a bit of riding in and get stuff sorted out and it’s paid off.”
