A full entry of 196 riders will tackle Diss MCC’s Santon Enduro this Sunday, February 23 for round one of the 2020 GH Motorcycles Eastern Enduro Championship.
The 12-mile course of the sandy terrain of Thetford forest is looking in good shape, except for a few fallen trees, and as usual, is very dry for this time of the year.
ACU Eastern Enduro Champion Luke Parker (Matt Pope 450 Kawasaki) will be defending his crown but expect strong competition from the likes of 2019 event winner Ben Cole on a GH Motorcycles 450 Husky and former event winners such as Jake Nicholls (450 Buildbase Honda), Jason Morland GH MC 450 Yamaha and former ACU Eastern MX champ Shaun Southgate.
Out of centre riders who should be in the hunt for a top-three finish include Roger Holland on an ET James 450 KTM.
The Expert and Clubman classes have good representation with entries for the event filling up within 48 hours.
The start time is 9am at Forest Ride 22 on the Thetford to Mundford Road IP27 0TR.
The first rider on the test will be at 9.05 am and Championship riders should be riding in the region of six laps of the course.
A big thanks to GH Motorcycles for their continued support of the ACU Eastern Enduro Championship.
