Nev Bradshaw returns to Arenacross this weekend at Glasgow – and for the rest of the Tour – with MVR-D Husqvarna.

The former top British MX2 runner will take the ride vacated by Kristian Whatley, who parted company with the team due to irreconcilable differences after his no-show at Manchester.

Bradshaw’s no stranger to AX, or Husqvarna. He finished second to Adam Chatfield in the first-ever AX championship back in 2013 and then, riding for Husqvarna across several championships, in 2015 he again contested the Pro class. Whilst retired from professional racing, the 33-year-old has kept fit and continued training so the odds are that he won’t be at all shabby when he takes to the start gate at round two on Saturday. “It’s great to be back racing,” said the popular South African, “I’ve tasted AX success before and am looking forward to getting back in the saddle with MVR-D, giving them some results and having fun.”

We say … this is brilliant for AX. Nev is popular with everyone and will be up there with the best of them.
