Without doubt, Todd Kellett is one of the UK’s most exciting up-and-coming talents and the West Country wonder is planning to rip into the Rookie class during the 2014 Arenacross tour.

‘Hot Toddy’ comes from a family of petrolheads and after a learning year aboard a 250F following his move up from a BW85cc machine the 16-year-old from Somerset is good to go.

“I’m really excited for Arenacross,” reckons Todd. “It’s going to be great! I like jumping so the tracks should suit me. I did the O2 in January on a 250F and it was a bit big for me but now I’ve had a year on the bike and I’m used to it I’m really looking forward to it.”

As part of the Monster Energy Kawasaki UK team Todd has the back-up needed to succeed if he can keep things rubber-side down over the seven rounds.

“I don’t like to make predictions but it would be nice to be in the top three but it’s so hard to tell who’ll be good at Arenacross and I’ve never done a full season so it’ll be interesting.”

The seven-round 2014 Arenacross series kicks off with a double-header at the Odyssey Arena, Belfast, on January 17/18 before travelling to the LG Arena, Birmingham (January 25), the Echo Arena, Liverpool (February 2), the Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle (February 9) and the Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield (February 15). The series signs off at London’s Wembley Arena on March 1.
