Steve Goode Motorcycles

Steve Goode Motorcycles was established in 1982 having worked in the trade since the age of 14

Tel: 01938 850544

Part-time work at Hyland Crowe Birmingham introduced Steve to Trials & Scrambles and through owners Ech & Molly Hyland joined Moseley & District MCC.

When Bunny Ward left to start Wakelin Ward with good friend Roger Wakelin, Steve followed initially working part-time, then full-time until 1982.

We started the business selling MZ and used trials but within the first week became one of few Beta dealers. Other dealerships followed and a change to larger premises in 1989 where we remained until 2001.

A lifestyle change move to Welshpool two mile away from the first Moseley Trial Steve attended at the age of 14 has allowed us to unlock stock built up over 30 years.

Steve is assisted in the business by Jackie his wife and current trends has lead us to eBay where we have a shop to promote our products.

Steve remains a member of the Moseley Club, running a Classic trial for the BMCA but plays a great part in the Clive MCC assisting with trials and other events including Welsh National Rally. Steve has seen over 45 years of evolution of off-road sport and gathered a great deal of knowledge especially of trials. When time allows Steve rides his twinshock Beta in local trials. We are able to supply new trials machines and associated to trials new and old, plus MZ, PUCH, SIMSON, TOMOS.

With 36 Years knowledge of the trade Steve has seen most of the development of all Trials machines especially from 1970 when model change exploded with the various manufactures.

Steve has a passion for twinshock and base some of the business towards this market due to knowledge gained, and the fact there are few dealers in the trade who were about to know about the different machines. Steve keeps spares for Yamaha range and still remains a dealer for Yamaha to service spares requirements.

Steve keeps spares for Fantic, after holding decent stock when models current. Steve keeps spares for Italjet 250/350, after buying remaining spares from last source Harglo, who bought Appleyards Stock. Please email your request for price list. Steve keeps spares for SWM, after buying stock from Pems who bought stock off Jim Jones.

Steve keeps stock of Beta spares including Twinshock which he started selling in 1982 when little known, also early TR32/33 spares for Monos.

Add some Garelli 320/323 Spares which we do not have much call for, but add to unique collection of stock.

We keep OMG Petrol Taps, NJB Shocks, Domino Products, Ariete Gaiters, Dust Covers, Grips, Lever Covers, Silencer Rubbers, ETC. We will further develop pages but meanwhile email your requests or questions.
